Chloe Nielsen shares a few gorgeous DT creations

In my page titled “Miss B”, I’ve gone all flowery and pretty :).
The FWAB Jack Vine in Green was perfect to add to my cluster – I love the bright vibrant green it adds, too!  I cut it all up, adding leaves here and there, all around.  (They work really well with my paper leaves.)  I’m such a fan of cutting up vines and flourishes!
You’ll see I’ve added some FWAB flowers too – these are my favourite flowers – so many colours and different styles and sizes make clustering a breeze.  I’ve used 2 FWAB flowers on this page:  Elise flower in cream and a Maddison flower in yellow.
*
Spot the Goanna was created for the July challenge at Show Us Your Stuff.
The July challenge is all about nature – so I used a photo of a massive goanna we found on the farm – it always amazes me how big these animals grow!

The nature theme was perfect to add a FWAB Lee’s Tree!  How cool does it look in my cluster!
I have also used a FWAB Elise Flourish in Antique Brown, cut up and added to my cluster also.
Then, you’ll see some FWAB Black Adhesive Pearls scattered around the page.
I kept my FWAB products to earthy, natural colours and they all match perfectly to the theme of my page :)
*
XOXO is a Christmas page using non-traditional colours – I’m a bit of a fan of non-traditional :).
I’ve added lots of FWAB Adhesive Pearls in Teal all over my page – lots in groups of 3 for visual appeal, and some on top of other embellishments.
Then, if you look carefully, I’ve tucked some FWAB Nicky’s Beach Huts under my layers!  It’s fun to think outside the box with FWAB products, they don’t always have to be used for a set theme :).
These red beach huts were a perfect match for my colour scheme, and they look a bit like cool arrows when they are just peeking out of the layers.
A very big thank you Chloe for the 3 amazing bright and cheery layouts you have shared with us today. We just love how you think out of the box and use our products in so many varied ways showing how versatile our products are.
Happy scrapping everyone,

A big welcome to our New DT member - Leanne Nankervis

*****A very big welcome to new DT member – Leanne Nankervis*****

Hello FWAB fans, we hope that your weekend is going well so far! We are so happy to introduce to you our latest addition to the FWAB Design Team, Leanne Nankervis!
We are so excited to have Leanne join us and look forward to sharing with you Leanne’s very first layouts for us. But first, a little bit about Leanne –
Bio:
Hello, I’m Leanne I live in Geelong Victoria. I am married with 3 children, and love to
Scrap the moments we share in our lives. I work fulltime so scrapbooking is my relax and down time, my place to escape and unwind. I have been scrapbooking for 13 years, and love it as much as the day I started. I love to create layouts, cards, and mixed media, to dabble in a bit of everything. I’m very happy to be designing for FWAB because I’m a bling girl, and I just love all the pretty things.
For my first project I have done a beach layout little Fisherman/girl. I used an old photo of my daughter Alannah when we did our trip around Australia in 2011, catching fish in a net at Hilarys boat harbour in Perth. I used some 49 market sea papers; I did some stencilling and used some prima oil pastels for colouring. For my embellishments I have used the FWAB Maddison Teal flower, and the FWAB Jasmine Teal laser flourish.
I cut the Teal flourish I love to get the most out of my elements in a layout.
For my next layout Beautiful, I have used the Prima Rose Quartz papers, the photo is my friend and her daughter, who did a photo shoot recently. I love the photos I just wanted to use them, For this page I used the FWAB Luke chocolate Metallicwhich has that lovely bronze look to it, which went perfect with the metallic bronze in the paper, though its hard to see. And for my floral cluster I used aFWAB Maddison flower in pink, perfect colour to blend in with all the other elements.
Close up of the Luke chocolate metallic which I cut up into pieces and used around my layout.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at these projects, be sure to stop by shop store andgallery for more inspiration. Till next time happy crafting.
xx Leanne

Announcing new DT member Chloe Nielsen

Introducing new DT member for 2017 – Chloe Nielsen!
Now you may recognise Chloe, that’s because she was on our FWAB Design Team over previous years, and we loved her so much and the gorgeous projects that she created for us that we have asked her back, and she said YES! Yeahhhh
BIO:
Hello, I’m Chloe from sunny Queensland, Australia. Mum to 2 kids (plus the dog), I love to scrap our every day moments as well as the big moments that feature in our life. I work 4 days a week, so my scrapping time is precious, it’s my creativity and stress relief all in one! I am over the moon to be designing for FWAB again … what can I say … FWAB products and a FWAB team to be on … it’s an honour to be here 🙂
My first page “Mr Handsome”, features our much loved family pooch … he seems to be getting quite a few of his own pages lately! I have used a FWAB Jasmine Puffy Flourish Black and cut it in half to fit on either side of my cluster. I get a bit scissor happy with my flourishes, but I love that cutting them up can make them fit perfectly and change the look to make each page unique. The slightly glittery look of this flourish really makes it POP on a project!
My next layout “Sweet”, I have kept the page bright and cheery to highlight the sweet little chicken my daughter is holding.
I have used a range of FWAB products on this page. Firstly, a gold FWAB Elise flower, I have cut up a FWAB Jasmine Laser Flourish Gold into a few smaller pieces to fit them around my cluster. Lastly, I have used a flower from the FWAB Maddison Flowers 3pk – Yellow as my focal point for my page – I love how soft and pretty these flowers are!

Sweet Teddy cards by DT Lynn Good

***Sweet Teddy cards by DT member Lynn Good***

I love the Pion Design papers and thought I would create some cards using the Chloe Pearl Flourish, Adhesive Pearls in pearl and FWAB flowers. It is amazing how far these products go when you use them in pieces for smaller things such as cards.  I have kept the cards simple – without mixed media – as I felt the paper and FWAB products were the focus.
I have used FWAB Chloe PearlFWAB Adhesive Pearls in pearl and FWAB flowers as well as  Pion Design Paper, Distress Ink – Frayed Burlap and Bundled Sage.  We R Memory Keepers Embossing Folder – Geometric, Prima Metal Die – confetti Hearts, Spellbinders Die Cut – Decorative Curved Square, Bo Bunny Die Cut – 3×4 Ornate Frame.
In the above and below cards I have used the FWAB Chloe pearl flourish and cut it up into pieces to suit my card
In the card below I have used a FWAB white Elise flower
In the card below of this cute teddy and his friends I have used a FWAB pink Maddison flower
In the card below I have used the FWAB Adhesive Pearls
Another card below where I have used the FWAB Chloe Pearl flourish and cut it up to suit my card, as well as a FWAB white Elise flower.
